This museum was opened in 1995 to promote the appreciation of Singapore’s history and heritage in philately.
You will be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the multi-cultural heritage of Singapore.
You will find faces of characters and historical figures on stamps and discover the story and artist behind each stamp.
All in all you will be captivated by the history, the culture, multimedia gadgets, rare philatelic gems and postal objects or just simply the beauty of the stamps.
There are permanent galleries as well as theme galleries. The theme galleries host changing exhibitions from private collections belonging to renowned philatelist, travelling exhibitions from overseas and exhibitions to commemorate new stamps.
There is also a souvenir shop at the museum that sells stamps, stamp folios, collectors tool and accessories for enthusiast.
